How to Downgrade to 2.1.3 in order to connect
If you've downloaded the latest patch and need to revert to an older patch version, here's what you need to do.
STEPS
1. go to where you installed WoW (Default is C:\program files\World of Warcraft)
2. open the Data folder
3. delete patch.mpq and patch2.mpq and any other patch#.mpq's
4. go back to the World of Warcraft folder
5. run Repair.exe
6. repatch up to 2.0.10 or 2.0.12 with patches from the link below
(Ascent users please patch to v2.1.3)
7. find WoW.exe and right click it and select "Create Shortcut"
8. drag the shortcut to your desktop and rename it however it pleases you
9. Play the game via the shortcut
*Edit* Thanks to Mckenzie (I think that's their name, if not I'll fix it right away) I've just been informed that if you run repair.exe and it takes you to patch 2.0.0.6 that you need to Dl 2.0.X to 2.0.3. Thanks for the info.

Please do not fuss about the server being offline at 8:00 PM through about 3:00 PM GMT -6 on weekdays. I am a 13 year old guy who has a curfew... 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM most of the time on Weekends.
